Teledyne FLIR has expanded its test and measurement portfolio with four new instruments designed for electrical testing, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, HVAC maintenance and building diagnostics.
The additions include the FLIR EV86 NACS and EV86 T2 EV Charger Analysers, DM266 Compact Thermal Imaging Multimeter and EM57 Thermo Hygrometer.
All four products feature FLIR Meterlink connectivity, enabling professionals to transfer measurement data into mobile reporting workflows.
EV charging safety and performance testing
The EV86 NACS and EV86 T2 analysers are designed to assess the safety and performance of AC electric vehicle charging stations in residential and commercial environments.
The EV86 NACS supports Level 1 and Level 2 charging equipment, while the EV86 T2 supports Modes 1, 2 and 3.
Both instruments provide protective earth testing, control pilot simulation, waveform analysis, error simulation and low impedance measurement.
The EV86 NACS also supports CCID performance verification, while the EV86 T2 provides RCD performance testing.
Thermal imaging for electrical maintenance
The DM266 Compact Thermal Imaging Multimeter combines True RMS electrical measurements with Infrared Guided Measurement and multispectral dynamic thermal imaging.
These capabilities enable engineers to identify temperature anomalies and investigate potential electrical faults.
Additional features include VFD mode, remote control operation, mounting options and infrared super resolution up to 320 × 240.
HVAC temperature and humidity monitoring
The EM57 Thermo Hygrometer provides temperature and humidity measurements for HVAC servicing, commissioning and building inspections.
Integrated dew point and wet bulb calculations support assessments of condensation risks, indoor environmental conditions and HVAC performance.
Connected reporting for field professionals
Meterlink connectivity is incorporated across the new range to simplify the process of recording measurements and preparing reports.
Heliel Morales, Business Development Director for Condition Monitoring at Teledyne Flir, said: “Professionals need tools that not only provide accurate measurements but also make it easier to turn those measurements into actionable information.
“These new products combine purpose-built testing capabilities with Meterlink connectivity to help simplify workflows from measurement through reporting.”
