Tilsatec has introduced PUREHIDE, a new range of leather safety gloves designed to combine high levels of cut protection with comfort, durability and ergonomic features for workplace applications.

The product family comprises five models, each offering Level F cut protection under EN 388:2016+A1:2018, with options for impact protection and cold working environments.

Leather construction designed for comfort

The PUREHIDE range uses soft goatskin leather, with a controlled tanning process designed to minimise chromium content.

According to Tilsatec, independent testing has identified undetectable levels of chromium in the leather.

The gloves incorporate a gunn cut construction, positioning seams away from areas subject to frequent wear to support durability and natural hand movement.

Extended roll palm edging relocates side seams to reduce pressure and irritation during prolonged use.

Ergonomic features support fit and movement

The gloves feature a tapered, shirred wrist construction designed to follow the natural movement of the hand and wrist.

This provides a closer fit intended to help keep the gloves securely positioned throughout the working day.

The combination of seam placement and wrist design aims to improve comfort during extended periods of wear.

Five models offer different protection options

The PUREHIDE range includes the 40 7030 goatskin cut protection glove and the 69 7645 impact protection glove featuring Looplock closure.

The 69-7641 combines cut and impact protection with Exoflow technology.

For colder working conditions, the 42-7032 incorporates Thinsulate insulation, while the 69 7643 combines winter insulation with impact protection.

All five models provide Level F cut resistance.

Supporting workplace glove selection

Tilsatec is offering guidance to help businesses identify suitable PUREHIDE gloves for their applications and working environments.

A dedicated product guide provides further information about the range and its technical specifications.
