Securex Africa 2027 will take place at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa, from 1 to 3 June 2027, introducing an expanded buyer engagement strategy and new exhibition features.

Organised by Montgomery Group Africa, the event will bring together suppliers and decision makers from across the security, safety, facilities management and fire protection sectors.

Strengthening access to African markets

The 2027 exhibition will place greater emphasis on connecting international, regional and local suppliers with buyers across Africa.

The strategy follows research indicating that 81% of exhibitors want improved access to local markets and opportunities beyond their existing customer base.

A targeted buyer initiative will include VIP buyer recruitment, regional roadshows, enhanced buyer profiling, curated meetings and matchmaking opportunities.

Four industry sectors under one platform

Securex Africa 2027 will combine security, occupational health and safety, facilities management and fire protection within a single exhibition platform.

The approach follows feedback from 2026 visitors, with 63% expressing interest in experiencing all four sectors during one visit.

Particular attention will be given to industries where these disciplines overlap, including mining, manufacturing, agriculture and real estate.

New features and technical learning opportunities

The exhibition will introduce a Startup Zone and Pitch Den alongside sector specific roundtables and technical training.

Continuing Professional Development accredited content will also feature in the programme.

Additional exhibitors will represent building automation, cybersecurity, operational technology security, integrated facilities management and energy.

Live demonstrations, the New Product Showcase and themed audience days will return.

Extending engagement beyond the exhibition

Montgomery Group Africa plans to support the event through ongoing digital content and promotional activities throughout the year.

These initiatives will include advance coverage of new products and technologies.

Mark Anderson, Portfolio Director at Securex Africa 2027 organiser, Montgomery Group Africa, said:“Africa represents a significant opportunity for businesses looking to expand into new markets, but reaching the right decision-makers can be a challenge.

“Securex Africa 2027 is being shaped around that need, zeroing in on connecting relevant African buyers with the international, regional and local companies that can meet their requirements.

“Securex Africa 2027 is about creating a platform where businesses can build relationships that extend beyond the show floor. We are combining a stronger approach to engaging African buyers with more opportunities for exhibitors to demonstrate their expertise and engage with the market throughout the year.

“In this way, we intend to create greater value for both exhibitors and visitors, with the end goal of building safer, more resilient African businesses.”

Securex Africa 2027 will open daily from 9am to 4pm, with further information available at www.securex.co.za.
