KASK has highlighted its Winter Protection range, a collection of helmet accessories designed to improve comfort, protection and performance for workers operating outdoors during the winter months.
The range has been developed to address the challenges posed by low temperatures, wind, rain and rapidly changing weather conditions, helping to reduce the effects of cold stress, fatigue, reduced dexterity and slower reaction times.
Neck Shield improves comfort
Among the range is the KASK Neck Shield, which features fleece-lined neck protection to provide all-day comfort in wet and windy conditions.
Available in high-visibility colour options, the accessory supports both thermal protection and visibility requirements. It is compatible with KASK Zenith X, Primero and Superplasma series helmets.
Winter and Merino Cap options
The KASK Winter Cap provides additional insulation through a replaceable padding system that improves water resistance and wind protection. It attaches using a hook-and-loop system, allowing users to adapt their helmet configuration quickly as weather conditions change.
Designed for KASK helmets equipped with hook-and-loop padding attachment systems, it offers a practical solution for variable winter environments.
For colder conditions, the KASK Merino Cap uses natural merino wool insulation combined with wind and water resistance. Designed specifically for the Zenith X series, it uses KASK’s Click-In attachment system to provide secure integration and reliable cold-weather performance.
Full head and face protection
The KASK Winter Balaclava delivers fleece-lined insulation to protect the head, face and neck from wind and rain while remaining compatible with all KASK helmets.
It is also available in high-visibility versions to enhance worker safety.
Supporting winter safety
KASK said the Winter Protection range has been developed for workers in sectors including construction, infrastructure, utilities, forestry and maintenance, where outdoor operations continue throughout the winter.
The company added that the range provides safety professionals with a system-based PPE solution that simplifies equipment selection and standardisation while improving wearer acceptance and compliance.
For end users, the range is designed to improve comfort, protection and productivity in challenging winter conditions through a combination of technical performance, ergonomic design and a focus on worker wellbeing.
