Team Wendy has launched the Team Wendy Community App, a mobile platform designed to provide public safety and tactical professionals with access to product resources and ongoing support.
The company, which provides protective head systems for law enforcement, military and search and rescue communities, said the platform will help users access information, register warranties and remain connected with Team Wendy following a purchase.
Helmet sizing support included
The app provides helmet owners with sizing guidance, reviews and comments to support product selection, alongside warranty registration for easier recordkeeping.
A virtual head sizing tool uses facial measurements to estimate helmet size. Team Wendy said the feature provides a starting point when evaluating fit but is not intended to replace hands on fitting or official company guidance.
Warranty registration simplified
Warranty registration is a central feature of the platform, allowing users to save and organise important product details.
Following registration, the app can provide timely reminders and information about replacement parts from Team Wendy.
Community engagement expanded
The app also includes a community discussion board designed to support ongoing engagement among users.
Team Wendy will use the platform to provide relevant content, education and location based notifications in a more targeted way, while creating a more direct connection with the professionals who use its protective equipment.
Sara Jonas, Director of Global Marketing, Team Wendy, said: “We wanted the app to do more than house information. It should make it easier for our community to come together, to find what they need and learn how to get more from their equipment over time. We see it becoming part of the ownership experience.
“A helmet is not a one-time interaction. Our new app was designed to strengthen the connection between Team Wendy and helmet owners as their needs change, and it gives them a place to share with others who have similar questions, experiences and priorities around their gear.”
