Axil has announced a new partnership with Bostik, the adhesive solutions division of Arkema, aimed at driving recycling, reuse, and sustainable waste management across Bostik’s UK sites.
The collaboration focuses on re-engineering waste streams to reduce environmental impact while improving efficiency and compliance. As part of the deal, Axil will install new on-site equipment and work alongside Bostik staff to identify opportunities to move materials up the waste hierarchy — prioritising reuse and recycling over disposal.
Echoing Bostik’s own “Don’t bin it, fix it” ethos, the partnership seeks to maximise the value of waste as a resource. Axil will provide data-driven insights to optimise segregation, find better waste routes, and ensure transparency at every stage.
David Short, Operations Manager at Axil, said the initiative is already delivering results. “Even just a few weeks in, it’s been fantastic to see the Bostik team fully engaged — building on existing efforts by embracing smarter, more sustainable approaches to waste and improving segregation practices,” he said.
