KASK showcases a next generation helmet range designed to simplify high performance head protection
KASK, the premium Italian designer and manufacturer of head protection, returns to the Intersec trade fair at the Dubai World Trade Centre in 2026 to reaffirm its commitment to delivering advanced protective solutions for construction, industrial and work-at-height applications as well as rescue operations.
Two Decades of Helmet Design Innovation
On that occasion, KASK highlights the Primero series, which is the result of 20 years of KASK helmet design innovations. Primero provides advanced head protection that is easy to use for a variety of wearers in a wide range of applications. Available in vented (Primero Air) and closed shell, and in a variety of colours – including Hi-Viz Fluo options, the Primero series is compliant with the European protection standards for industrial helmets EN 397, EN 50365 and standard for mountaineers’ helmets EN 12492; with the American National Standard for Industrial Head Protection ANSI Z89.1-2014 and with the Canadian standard for Industrial Protective Headwear CSA Z94.1-15.
“When developing Primero, we wanted to make it easy for people to get into KASK,” states Marta Beltramello, Global Sales and Marketing Director at KASK Safety. “This could be people who are new to head protection, like those who do not wear a helmet every day, or it could be someone who is looking for an upgrade in comfort and performance.”
Compliance for Global Standards
The Primero series is the results of the holistic KASK commitment to safety, comfort, and design. Safety is ensured thanks to a High-Density Polypropylene external shell that decreases the helmet weight while increasing its protective abilities – great impact resistance and high penetration protection. The inner shell, made of Neopor Ccycled EPS by BASF, guarantees all-around high impact energy absorption and improved comfort.
This EPS is obtained from chemical recycling of plastic waste and has a reduced carbon footprint, ensuring the same high quality, performance, and safety as EPS made from fossil raw material. Exceptional wearer comfort is provided by an inner padding made of a quick-drying fabric with moisture-wicking technology that accelerates the dispersion of sweat to the surface of the helmet padding for keeping workers cool and dry.
Engineered for Flexibility
In addition, the Ergo Fit System allows for an easy and secure fit by turning the large diameter dial. The system moves up and down to adapt to a range of head shapes and the ergonomically shaped wings cradle the back of the neck for a secure fit. An advanced chinstrap with five adjustment points ensures a personalised fit and accommodates wider head sizes and adapts to earmuff use.
Adaptability and Integration
As with all KASK helmets, the Primero features several additional design elements that enhance the wearer experience. It is designed with integrated slots for easy mounting of KASK eye, face, and hearing protection accessories and with front attachment point for advanced customisation and easy integration of accessories such as badge holders and headlamps.
