MCR Safety Europe has announced the launch of its latest impact-resistant glove, designed to provide advanced protection, ergonomic fit, and improved hygiene without the traditional weight or discomfort of similar PPE.
Developed for demanding industrial environments, the glove meets EN388 Level F cut resistance and introduces several features intended to address common issues with existing hand protection.
Weighing 25% less than standard fibre cut-resistant gloves, the new model avoids the use of blended fibreglass—helping reduce skin irritation and maintain long-term protective performance.
The glove also incorporates Pinky Drop Technology to improve anatomical fit, supporting dexterity and comfort during precision tasks.
Key design elements include a TPR backhand guard for impact protection, sonic welded to preserve fluid resistance and eliminate puncture risks from stitching. A dual-layer nitrile coating provides grip and repels oil, while the anti-bacterial finish helps prevent odour during extended wear.
Made from a fibre claimed to be over nine times stronger than HPPE on a weight-for-weight basis, the glove balances strength with flexibility, reducing user fatigue over long shifts.
Already nicknamed the “Spider-Man Glove” due to its design, the product is aimed at professionals across manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering sectors who require performance-oriented PPE with no compromise on comfort or safety.
