A+A 2025, the leading trade fair for workplace safety, security and health, will once again highlight cutting-edge ideas shaping the future of occupational health next week.
The BMWE Young Innovators joint stand, organised by Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, has confirmed full participation, with eleven start-ups set to exhibit from November 4-7 in Düsseldorf. The showcase will form part of the Health at Work area in Hall 7, one of the event’s fastest-growing segments.
The BMWE initiative offers young German enterprises a platform to present market-ready technologies that improve occupational safety, prevention and ergonomics. Exhibitors will demonstrate solutions spanning digitalisation, artificial intelligence, ergonomics and new formats for training and communication.
According to A+A Director Lars Wismer, the initiative, “reflects the full innovative potential currently seen in workplace safety and preventative healthcare,” and helps turn forward-thinking ideas into practical applications.
The featured start-ups will address how technology can enhance wellbeing and productivity in professional environments. Deep Care will present AI-based fall detection systems designed for the care sector, while ChronoFair focuses on fair, digital HR tools aimed at reducing administrative strain in healthcare.
Innovation in safety communication also plays a key role. Zebra Factor Academy merges theatre-based learning with AI to promote safety culture in an engaging and sustainable way. Knoll, Rapp & Strobel and BASIKNET will present digital training platforms and gamified learning tools to strengthen awareness of safety in companies.
Traditional occupational safety remains a core theme. LeiKoSi will unveil its patented ladder head safety device, which reduces fall risks, and DermaPurge GmbH will display skincare products that remove hazardous substances from workers’ skin. Textile specialist Armadillo Tex will demonstrate adaptive protective clothing designed for high-risk industries.
Ergonomics and automation also feature strongly. Dewboard’s stand-up board promotes active working, particularly in nursing and manufacturing. eltracon and MY Intralogistik will showcase smart automation and digital process optimisation systems that combine safety, flexibility and efficiency.
Together, these start-ups represent a diverse cross-section of the health and safety landscape, from robotics and AI to ergonomics and educational innovation. The BMWE Young Innovators scheme provides them with vital exposure to global industry leaders, investors and partners.
Held biennially in Düsseldorf, A+A is the foremost global event for safety, security and health at work. Alongside the trade fair, the International Congress for Occupational Safety and Occupational Medicine delivers insights into current research and practice across the sector.
