SICUR, the International Security Exhibition organised by IFEMA MADRID from February 24 to 27, 2026 has announced a second edition of its EXO CORNER area, created in collaboration with the Biomechanics Institute (IBV), a leading national research centre in the field of exoskeletons.
Following its success in 2024, EXO CORNER 2026 arrives at SICUR as one of the trade fair’s major attractions, allowing professional visitors to discover how exoskeletons are revolutionising safety, protection, and prevention in the workplace, with solutions designed to reduce risks, improve ergonomics, and decrease physical strain in demanding jobs.
During the trade fair, EXO CORNER will bring together manufacturers, researchers, and experts in Pavilion 4a to demonstrate live how these state-of-the-art devices are being implemented in key sectors such as industry, logistics, and emergency services. In addition to an exhibition area featuring leading brands, live demonstrations will be presented to allow the public to observe the actual operation of exoskeletons and understand their impact on specific tasks.
As part of the SICUR exhibition EXO CORNER is establishing itself as a gathering place for knowledge and applied innovation, with an emphasis on how these solutions contribute to occupational risk prevention. In addition to reducing physical strain, improving posture, and relieving muscle fatigue in critical workplaces, exoskeletons have a positive impact on productivity and the sustainability of operational processes.
The 2026 edition will also provide insight into the current state of the exoskeleton market, with presentations and technical sessions addressing both their technological development and the challenges they still face for wider adoption: regulations, costs, maintenance, user acceptance, and training, creating a space for dialogue between manufacturers, prevention managers, regulatory bodies, and professionals from various sectors.
